It is important to identify the antecedents of newcomers’ job crafting as it assists with their adjustment in the workplace. This study made use of transformational leadership and newcomers’ calling as organizational and personal resources that predict job crafting. We hypothesized that transformational leadership would have an indirect relationship with newcomers’ job crafting after 2 years through their occupational self-efficacy and that their calling would moderate this mediational path. A multi-wave approach was employed wherein data from 280 new employees were collected three times during the first 2 years of their careers. The survey was completed by 150 participants. The results illustrated that transformational leadership was positively related to newcomers’ job crafting after 2 years of entry through their occupational self-efficacy. Additionally, newcomers’ calling moderated the mediating effect of occupational self-efficacy between transformational leadership and job crafting. The theoretical and practical implications of this study are discussed

Dependence of the composition ratio on passivation property of composite (SiO 2 ) 1 x (ZnO) x gas barrier films Abstract As a result of the comparatively permeability of the diatomic inorganic films such as a ZnO, SiO 2 , Al 2 O 3 , and MgO, the films showed the SiO 2 with the lowest polarizability and the ZnO with the highest polarizability as a glass former and a glass modifier, respectively (not shown here). To fabricate the passivation layers with a dense amorphous structure and high polarizability, various composite films were prepared and their permeabilities are represented in In this study, we investigate the dependence of the composition ratio on the permeability of the (SiO 2 ) 1 x (ZnO) x films, x=0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9, and 1.0 at.% prepared by the Rf-magnetron sputtering system to find materials with a low water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) as a gas barrier layer for flexible displays. Among the composition films, an extremely low water vapor transmission rate less than 10 3 g/m 2 /day was obtained in the composite films of (SiO 2 ) 1 x (ZnO) x , x= 0.5 at.%, 0.7 at.%, and 0.9 at.% with high packing density and polarizability,

Double-shot inkjet printing for high-conductivity polymer electrode

This paper presents a printing method to form a high-conductivity patterned poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) film. A modified PEDOT: PSS ink containing a secondary dopant (dimethyl sulfoxide) and fluorosurfactant (Zonyl FS-300) was inkjet-printed to form a uniform conducting layer, and the dimethyl sulfoxide, conductivity enhancer, was over-printed onto it to further enhance its conductivity. We achieved high-conductivity greater than 1000 S cm(-1) by only using inkjet-printing technique. The mechanism of conductivity enhancement was investigated with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy analyses. The printing process for high-conductivity PEDOT: PSS was applied to pattern a transparent anode for the fabrication of an organic light emitting diode. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved

Molecular orientation of a new anthracene derivative for highly-efficient blue fluorescence OLEDs

A new anthracene derivative of 9,10-bis(2,5-dimethyl-4-(naphthalen-2-yl)phenyl)-2,3-diphenylanthra cene (BDNPA) was designed and synthesized as a non-doped blue emitter in organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). BDNPA has highly rigid structure and thermal stability with decomposition temperature (corresponding to 5% weight loss) of 490 degrees C, because p-naphthyl xylene groups in 9,10-positions were highly twisted to anthracene core due to steric hindrance of xylene groups, and because the 2,3-diphenyl groups were also twisted about 45-49 degrees to anthracene. OLEDs with BDNPA non-doped emitter showed high efficiency of 5.21 cd/A due to the carrier mobility with well-aligned p-stacking structure toward out-of-plane by the face-on orientation by grazing incidence X-ray diffraction.clos

Preferential Orientation of Tetrahedral Silicon-Based Hosts in Phosphorescent Organic Light-Emitting Diodes

Vacuum-processed diphenylbis(3-(pyridine-2-yl)phenyl)silane (2PTPS), diphenylbis(3-(pyridine-3-yl)phenyl)silane (3PTPS), and diphenylbis(3-(pyridine-4-yl)phenyl)silane (4PTPS) have been used as electron-transporting host materials combined with tris(4-carbazoyl-9-ylphenyl)amine (TCTA) as the hole-transporting host, which induce balanced charge carrier transport for high-efficiency phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes. The 4PTPS-based organic light-emitting diodes with tris[2-phenylpyridinato-C-2,N]iridium(III) [Ir(ppy)(3)] dopant showed highest current efficiency and external quantum efficiency of 53.54 cd/A and 15.61%, compared to 2PTPS (40.75 cd/A, 11.84%) and 3PTPS (29.35 cd/A, 8.54%). These results were attributed to the well-aligned structure with preferential horizontal orientation of the emitting material layer by the diffraction intensity distribution as a function of azimuthal angle in two-dimensional grazing incidence X-ray diffraction analysis. The molecular orientation of TCTA:4PTPS material with a narrow azimuthal intensity distribution had better priority to the horizontal direction than the other TCTA:2PTPS and TCTA:3PTPS materials, which is related to the charge transport as well as the device efficiency. We found that the preferential horizontal orientation of the co-host material with a balanced charge carrier was not affected by Ir(ppy)(3) dopant with a homoleptic structure and bis-[2-(4,6-difluorophenyl)pyridinato-N,C-2](picolinato)iridium [Firpic] dopant with a heteroleptic structure in the co-host/dopant system.11Nsciescopu
